Look, I know it’s been awhile. I know I’ve been delinquent with posts of late and I know my golf game has taken precedence over fantasy baseball posts. It’s been a long and frankly, boring season. But I still found time to build you all one hell of a fantasy football draft tool. It’s well past time for Thief Nation to get into the discussion of lockouts. Clearly, for any fantasy sports enthusiast, even a partial loss of games on the season for either sport would seriously alter the feel of playing. A loss of one or both seasons fully would be catastrophic both to the fantasy sports industry and to our collective free time. In my opinion, the NBA has a much steeper hill to climb and here’s why.

Coming into the season, we earmarked a few different clear strategies aimed at getting our team into the playoffs. However as the season progresses, it’s easy to lay these by the wayside and deviate due to ‘one-off’ events such as a marquee player being dropped to the wire, or some overly advantageous trade pulled off. With roughly 8 weeks left in the regular season, it’s time to re-focus our strategy and set our sights back on the playoffs.
